Makerspace Mondays: STEAM-powered enrichment
Beginning September 11th, 2017 Benedicite will be offering a STEAM focused enrichment morning for ages 5-15 from 9am–12pm. This extension program will be led by Mr. Mike, Ms. Mary, and Ms. Jess.
The younger students will work on weekly challenges with an emphasis on problem solving, design, art, engineering, science and math.
The upper grades will work on long term STEAM based challenges with a strong focus on planning, delegating, team work, problem solving, and reflection with Mr. Mike as their main learning guide. Projects will include using a variety of tools, electronics, and technology.
All students will need their own safety glasses and work gloves.
Monthly tuition is $100.
