The Farm Experience gives students an opportunity to apply skills in an authentic way. The focus of the experience is problem-solving, collaborating, and communicating in real life situations. The structure of the day offers greater responsibility than a typical classroom. Most importantly, the varied learning opportunities on a working farm foster the meaning and purpose that adolescents seek.
